LUXEMBOURG--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Pacific Drilling S.A. (NYSE: PACD) announced today that its shareholders
have recently appointed two new independent members of the company’s
Board of Directors, increasing the size of the Board to nine members.
Mr. Robert Schwed is a partner in Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr
LLP and has approximately 40 years of corporate finance transactions
experience. He is also an adjunct professor at George Washington
University School of Law, where he teaches a course in venture capital
law.
Mr. Sami Iskander is the Executive Vice President, Operations at BG
Group. Prior to joining BG Group, Mr. Iskander spent his career with
Schlumberger, where he fulfilled a number of key leadership roles, with
assignments in Latin America, the USA, Africa, Europe and the Middle
East, culminating in his role as President, Drilling and Measurements.

Mr. Schwed and Mr. Iskander were appointed at the May 13, 2013, Annual
General Meeting and the September 2, 2013, Extraordinary General
