Pacific Drilling Announces Achievement of Safety Milestones

Pacific Drilling S.A. announced today that three of its rigs have achieved safety milestones.  On June 1, 2012, the Pacific Mistral celebrated one year without a lost time incident (LTI). This followed the Pacific Scirocco's achievement of the same milestone on April 13, 2012, and the Pacific Bora's achievement on January 1, 2012. Pacific Drilling has operated for 522 days, or 1,484 rig days, without an LTI.

Chris Beckett, Chief Executive Officer, stated, This is a great achievement and a testament to our world class safety management system, as well as the hard work and dedication of our team to its implementation and continuous improvement.
